The 69th Emmy Awards are looking as though they’ll be at or near an all-time low in the ratings. CBS’ live telecast of the awards is currently showing a 2.1 rating in adults 18-49 and 9.58 million viewers, compared to 2.5 and 9.69 million in last year’s preliminary ratings.
CBS has ordered time zone-adjusted ratings, and we’ll update this post when they come in. Last year’s ceremony finished with a 2.8 and 11.3 million viewers and was the least-watched Emmy show on record.
Elsewhere, “The Orville” is currently showing fairly steady numbers vs. its premiere, although it started after 8:30 p.m. ET and therefore is subject to change. Pending updates, it’s at 2.6 in the 18-49 demographic, vs. an early 2.3 last week.
“Sunday Night Football” is currently at 18.46 million viewers and a 6.4 among adults 18-49, off from a preliminary 21.56 million and 8.0 for last week’s season opener. “Steve Harvey’s Funderdome” (0.6) and “The $100,000 Pyramid” (0.5) hit season lows opposite the heavier competition.

That is not an impressive list of advertisers. One can’t help but wonder if more traditional sponsors are aware of the potential for boycotts if they advertise on one of those Elitist Traitors on Parade shows.
I don’t remember the last time I watched any awards show. They make me puke.

Noticed that POTUS, Trump did not comment on any of the EMMY Awards fiasco doing last evening. If these “EMMY” buffoons and idiot are Trumps enemies....he has not one iota of a reason to be worried about anything they did or said. From Stephen Colbert on down, these morons are all losers and do not have a clue as to what is functioning in the real world. But....the biggest loser of all time is Sean Spicer, who turned up as a Trump, USA, traitor, turncoat, who has in one appearance destroyed both his career and life and life opportunities. In short, Spicer is toast....no, burnt toast!!!

Another ‘who cares’ award show.
Hot air from the a/c units to cool the outdoors and hot air from the exhaust of their jets as they flit here and there and hot air from their mouths decrying everything.
Orville was slow, no pacing and had 2 marijuana jokes in different parts of the show plus a alien sitting on a egg to hatch. The plus was the computer graphics were very good. They need better writers and since Seth MacFarlane does the writing I suspect the show won’t improve.
They need to advertise it for what it is: A non-stop Anti-Trump show. Maybe they could get a few million more haters to tune in.
Didn’t the host of the show come right out and tell Trump voters not to tune in? That’s 63 million viewers they dissed and rejected. So—if they don’t like the ratings, blame the host and all the celebrities who, I hear, bashed Trump all night long.
