Nearly 4 days later after the suspect committed one of the biggest mass murders in U.S. history and still no motive? That seems a bit odd considering everthing.
Even if the suspect was a mentally ill, he would still need some type of motive, whether real or perceived.
They've interviewed his girlfriend, his brother, associates, acquaintances, relatives, friends and nothing? No social media? No on-line presence? No smart phone information? Nothing political going on? And they've searched everything he owns including the vehicles. And you know they've gone through his medical records thoroughly.
We're told he was a gambler who spent lots of cash gambling and he had several homes and was a former government employee among other things. And I'm sure they've looked at every financial transaction he's ever had by now.
How could someone so angry, and or mentally ill, never have hinted or telegraphed their intentions or position to someone along the way? This took lots of planning, at least weeks, if not months or possibly more. Personally I think the girlfriend would have to know what going on with this guy, at least to some extent.
What are your thoughts regarding a motive?
I was a news reporter for many years, and worked with law enforcement on countless cases. There were often VERY good reasons why LE didn’t want us blabbing details that would compromise a case. And almost always, when all the facts could finally be revealed, I ended up getting a good story with concrete FACTS, and developed good trust with the officials, guaranteeing I would get good access on the next incident.
The (for the most part) ridiculously juvenile reporters today spill so much pure hearsay and garbage in print and on the net, I find myself cringing. Loose, unsourced BS can and does compromise not only the investigation, but later legal proceedings as well. It’s frustrating, all right. The media is completely out of control, but FReepers know that all too well.

It may have been planned back as far as Election Day - Catherine Herridge reported that he purchased 33 firearms since October 2016.

There’s more to this, I’m sure; the lack of internet presence is very telling...
That was my initial hunch. Be interesting to see if that pans out.

Almost had me except for the turn of events where the ‘buyers’ start shooting at the crowd. There was a photo of a mallet type thing that was supposedly used to bust the windows. Did the buyers plan that ahead of time too?
All I do know is that the ‘story’ our lying media is shoveling is short on facts and full of sh**
Whether this truth is ever publicly confirmed or not, I believe that this is the truth behind the motive.
Another example of this phenomenon is Colin Kaepernick who threw away his professional football career by trying to impress his leftist, communist girlfriend.
What Facebook page of his are you speaking of? Early morning, like 2am or so, there was no page to be found. Interested if you know something we’ve overlooked. The girlfriend’s ex husband has/had a page that read like a teenager in lust with every malcontent of the left. Is that the one you’re speaking of?

Yup, many vegas buildings and towers (including mandalay) have ***exterior*** strobe lights that go off during fire alarms, supposedly to help first responders locate the building easily.
The fire alarms had gone off in paddock’s room because of all the gunshot smoke, so those strobe lights on the lower exterior level turned on as a result, which happened while paddock was still rampaging.
He wanted to kill people just for the hell of it. Quite the adrenaline rush, I would imagine. I wonder if he tortured animals as a kid? I dunno, just speculation. Who can really get into the head of a person like that?
If so, he may be a case of pharmacologically induced psychopathy.
I tend to agree. The Sheriff’s last news conference he looked like he had a gun to his back.
The man looks exhausted. Possibly saying a bit more than the Feds liked when they stepped up to the mic and said a whole lot of nothing.
But I believe what he did say. The shooter had help and planned to escape.
And given the fact his car was a rolling bomb, he obviously intended an even higher body count.
Yeah, this could get real interesting. I keep hearing chatter of extreme political motives. We’ll see.
That anti-Trump video in Reno that youtube pulled....maybe. His image was iffy, but it sure looked like her.
