Nearly 4 days later after the suspect committed one of the biggest mass murders in U.S. history and still no motive? That seems a bit odd considering everthing.
Even if the suspect was a mentally ill, he would still need some type of motive, whether real or perceived.
They've interviewed his girlfriend, his brother, associates, acquaintances, relatives, friends and nothing? No social media? No on-line presence? No smart phone information? Nothing political going on? And they've searched everything he owns including the vehicles. And you know they've gone through his medical records thoroughly.
We're told he was a gambler who spent lots of cash gambling and he had several homes and was a former government employee among other things. And I'm sure they've looked at every financial transaction he's ever had by now.
How could someone so angry, and or mentally ill, never have hinted or telegraphed their intentions or position to someone along the way? This took lots of planning, at least weeks, if not months or possibly more. Personally I think the girlfriend would have to know what going on with this guy, at least to some extent.
What are your thoughts regarding a motive?
There absolutely had to be more than one shooter. Why run between windows?

There was a motive. This was meticulously planned for a long time.
We need more evidence.
Did he even do it? Was he an arms dealer? He fits the profile for one with the planes and the cash and the weapons. Did he set up a typical sale in a Vegas hotel and did he get stung by ISIS to be used to pull off a huge terror attack?
We simply need more evidence. So far, the evidence only shows that this attack was not likely for him. His age, the lack of grievances. People look for simple explanations but maybe this one isn’t the simplest. We do not know.

Lots of hi dollar firepower. I would be hard pressed to buy one of the good guns he used and hand it down to one of my kids.
He had 10 or 12 all just tossed around like so much lumber. He could have done the same thing with a table full of AK knock offs.
Stacks of mags and good optics on the guns. If he had been trained in firearms the death toll would have been much higher.
