“The Eyrie” is a castle way up in the mountains, literally clinging to the side of one, in Game of Thrones.

Kind of makes sense now.

The highest peak is the home of the bravest eagle. Trump’s aerie is the pinnacle of greatness. (I absolutely LOVE rubbing Trump in pretentious liberal noses.)

This wordavoir is wondering when the words of pray are made illegal in public, while the birds of prey are worshipped by the environmental groups. Unless the birds of prey are being killed by the enviro’s wind mills. Then it is okay to ignore their aerie early deaths.

He crafted a well-stocked aerie and waited for his prey.

Apparently, he made some dry runs. Lollapalooza reservation. His room here overlooked Lollapalooza in August. Wow. If true, this is creepier and creepier.

Paddock sat in his Killing Fields aerie
Taking aim at the masses, unwary
He began his attack
T’was a cowardly act
Evil far above what’s ordinary

As he flew forth from his aerie,
The Noble Eagle spied
A structure huge and scary
With a span quite tall and wide.
A blot upon the landscape
An unsightly obstruction
It sure did not seem natural
Perhaps “human” construction?

But, Brave and bold he ventured
To confront the vicious beast.
He was The Boldest Eagle,
Not frightened in the least.

So, just like Don Quixote,
he dove into the fray
And the Brave and noble Eagle,
This Dragon, he would slay.

Then, as quick as lightning,
A whirring, crushing sound
And Our Brave and Noble Eagle
Lay in pieces on the ground.

So what is your reward then?
For this project you have sought
The death of the True and Noble
For a lousy kilowatt.

The lower Rogue River near Gold Beach has two types of Aeires!

1. The common Aeire is the nests for the River Osprey’s. They use the same nest from year to year. However, one has to wonder about their intelligence as about this time of the year, they migrate to South America each fall. So they miss out on the annual fall run of King Salmon and steelhead starting about the time the River Ospreys leave.

2. The bigger and less common Aeires are built by the American Bald Eagle. They stay the full year and get to dine on the King Salmon after they spawn. They will stay with the same Aeires.

I usually watch the eagle cams for hatching and growth of their chicks and it is amazing to see how large the aeries are.
