(Honestly, me personally, I prefer watching football to baseball. The only thing that bothers me is that now we know that playing football for a few years (maybe even as a teen) might predispose a guy to dementia, and that isn’t worth it. I’d like to see the game altered some or the brain protection improved)

Treat the news of this like Global Warming news. When there is a double blind study of people who DIDN’T play football alongside players, that is the acceptable standard for the scientific method. With the near epidemic in Alzheimers/dementia among the elderly and middle aged, it could be environmental pollution, even fluoride or chlorine meant to help humans live better lives.
