Vanity: List of Hollywood Starlets Whose Careers Skyrocketed Due to Harvey Weinstein
Me | 10/9/2017 | Me

Posted on 10/09/2017 6:11:04 PM PDT by RooRoobird20

Rush was discussing the many Hollywood starlets who seemed to come out of nowhere, whose careers skyrocketed because of their "association" with sickening perv Harvey Weinstein. All of them were probably seriously sexually harassed but kept quiet because of their personal lust for fame and fortune. So in that sense, they enabled Weinstein's disgusting predatory behavior.

This is a starting list of names. Please add to the list if you know of others:

Amy Adams Gwyneth Paltrow Jennifer Lawrence Ashley Judd

Katie Holmes, Jennifer Anitston, Tatiana Maslany, Krysten Ritter, Claire Foy, Rosario Dawson, Zoey Deutch, Olga Kurylenko, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Abigail Breslin, Minka Kelly, Julia Stiles, Sarah Silverman.

Got to wonder if any TV actresses who have failed to make it in film, refused the casting couch.

Gwyneth Paltrow had family connections-——she didn’t need him-———and I would hardly call her career that great.

amy is a darling actress who stole the show in "Juli and Julia"....

I hate the thought of her having to go that route thru the ugly grotesque Weinstein....

100% backwards. I’m saying that although most of the actresses listed had little to do with Weinstein, if you wanted to find out who DID get their start with Weinstein, you should look up Miramax.

Well, that Diaz slut certainly gave him what he wanted. She was doing that before becoming a star IIRC.

Gwyneth hasn’t done anything lately except play Ironman’s girlfriend—pitiful!!! She is more popular in Europe than she is here in the US.

At age 43, Gwyneth is now officially an aging starlet. She can’t compete with the likes of Scarlett Johannsen or Margot Robbie who are 15 to 20 years younger than her.

Lawrence is so ordinary looking, there had to be inside help somewhere along the line.

Well Weinstein was the producer of Silver Linings Playbook, the one she won an Oscar for.

By “ordinary looking,” I presume you mean, “human” as opposed to the bizarre fin-nosed space aliens that get most of the attention in Hollywood? $10 million and a plastic surgeon and anyone can look like that. Not anyone can be made to look like Jennifer Lawrence, although she is drifting towards the space alien look lately. The body snatchers have come for her.

Ashley Judd, who fussed and cussed about Trump, remained completely silent about Weinstein just to advance her career.

Maybe editors and publishers killed the story. When this thing broke last week Weinstein was calling Judd a liar.

There had to be other witnesses coming forward and a media outlet that would publish the story or else it's just "he said, she said."

It's easy to criticize -- especially since Judd claims to be such a big feminist -- but breaking the silence can be hard to do.
