She'll tell you 'everything you want to hear.'

What was the IQ of Microsoft’s chatbot that twitter users turned into a racist conspiracy theorist in like 24 hours?

When the dust settled, researchers found that Google’s AI has an IQ of about 47.28, putting it slightly below the IQ of an average six-year old.

The average IQ of a six-year-old is 100, by definition.

And IQ of a six-year-old? This is so stupid. You can ask Google any stat on countries or mathematics, but see what it does if you ask it to invent a story about the gang from My Little Pony.

This makes sense -- Google and Alexa have access to much more volumes of data than Siri.

To have adequate Machine Learning you need petabytes of data.

Never had Siri (expect for the boy talk around the poker table), but recently let my phone put the newest Google Assistant on - better voice recognition than anything else I have (my car has a number of voice commands) and very intuitive.

Also tried the Cortana function on my Win10 laptop and it seems to be much like Siri/Google for voice commands.

Yes, I hear you. The other night we were at a friend’s house for dinner, and I was telling him about a great restaurant my wife and I had tried the week before.

He asked me the name of the restaurant, and all I could come up with was “Oh, you know... what is the name of that flower that you give someone when you really love them?”

He said “a rose?”

I said “Yes!”

Then turned and hollered into the kitchen where the ladies were... “Hey, Rose! What was the name of that great restaurant we ate at last week?”

Nah... just recognize when people are trapped in the reality distortion field.
