Any 50's/60's music lovers here?

Just trying to forgot about all the sad events in the world today with the mass killings, fires, hurricanes, etc. so I've turned to music for an outlet. I know this is weird as I'm 55y/o but I love 50's and 60's music. They just don't make music like this anymore. Here are two of my favorites.

Four Preps https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zXd8c1BLpRQ

Bachelors https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q4opYhQAAao

What are your favs from these eras?

Pinging a few music lovers to your thread.
Publius has an amazing knowledge of music.
Luvw is a huge fan of jazz.
Mylife loves stuff that’s a little off the beaten path, and
I love all the rest of it!

Listen to The Canteen on Friday and Saturday nights!
There is something there for everyone!

I’m eclectic. I sort of grew up on ‘50s music and etc due to parents but adopted it as one of the many kinds I listen to.

Have gotten compilations and have 50s on 5 for XM, etc.

Too numerous to name! My folks are boomers, so I grew up listening to oldies. Not to mention classic films and a lot of vintage television.

Our son plays electric bass. Once at a lesson he was learning a Motown bass line. I sang along. “How do you know that, Mom?” haha. I loved the Motown stuff, Otis Redding too.
