I was quite moved by this video.
Happy - and sad.
Like Christian the lion, he recognized his trainer.
Hard to tell, but he’s a she.
Interesting fact the chimps are not really all chimpanzees.
An endangered “species” of chimps are the bonobo.
Bonobo DO have longer hair on females and more identifiable human characteristics. They also mate face to face.
Just a fun fact I lately found out about!
Touching...at least she went knowing
she was loved and got the chance to show it....
Well, they say that animals don’t smile.
But I’m dang sure she’s smiling!
Bkmk
There are many things we can learn from animals.
If you spend enough time on facebook, you will find hundreds of these same kind of reunion videos between every mammal, reptile, fish and bird with people or pets or illegal aliens. And hundreds more videos of baby animals in peril being rescued by their parents or humans who just happen to find and rescue them. I’m not saying they are all staged by people who get off on social media “Likes” and “Comments”. I’m just saying that I don’t think they are all as authentic as some people want them to be. I’m sure some of them are... I’m just not sure how many.
Sweet.
Bonobos are also a matriarchal society, they barter for sex, and they are our closest relatives... genetically speaking.
...they are our closest relatives... genetically speaking.
Until we get a confirmed sample of Sasquatch DNA, that is. They are more human-like than any of the great apes.
We have some evidence of possible successful mating between human and sasquatch.
