For tonight's movie, I logged in to buy the tickets and reserve the seats and I kid you not not a single seat had been reserved 4 hours to showtime.
I watched GeoStorm at the theater. Massive Globalism is good message- so thick you needed a shovel, not a trowel to slather it all over. Simplistic plot. Very loud sound levels. It has the message of China as a primary partner among other nations and a US leader as a villain. And of course, it has a humanistic theme that a united mankind can do what ever it decides to do. I was thinking after the movie, I should have skipped it.
I find myself self censoring a lot of what I choose to watch and I find myself going to less movies due to content, violence and implicit propaganda.
I noticed the same thing for a movie last Wednesday. I think there were 5 people total in the theater.
You know private screenings aren’t all that bad. :)
