Primal therapy is a trauma-based psychotherapy created by Arthur Janov, who argues that neurosis is caused by the repressed pain of childhood trauma. Janov argues that repressed pain can be sequentially brought to conscious awareness and resolved through re-experiencing specific incidents and fully expressing the resulting pain during therapy.
In therapy, the patient recalls and reenacts a particularly disturbing past experience usually occurring early in life and expresses normally repressed anger or frustration especially through spontaneous and unrestrained screams, hysteria, or violence.

They seem to have this penchant for creating symbolism that is more meaningful to them than to anyone else, and it has such a cheap and flimsy quality to it that most people just chuckle to themselves when they finally “get it” if they don’t get it right away. We laugh because it is weak, despite their mass concerted efforts to make the world pay attention to them and their ‘art’. Life imitating art, eh? That is not the way to make America great again.
I think this befits them. Maybe afterward, they could all go in for psychoanalysis — you know, to assuage their childhood traumas.
