The Pentagon recommended that women be required to register for the draft to boost military enrollment, according to a Defense Department report addressed to Congress. The report, obtained by the Washington Times, said the Selective Service System would increase enrollment by 11 million people if the U.S. required women to sign up for the draft.

I think the social engineers at the Pentagon want them in front line combat roles. It is obvious that women make awesome soldiers. And, haven’t you seen all the movies where a hundred pound woman KO’s a brutish, hairy-chested, muscular man with just one punch? Of course they can serve in the front lines. All those male soldiers can just sit in the foxhole while the women go out there and take the enemy positions. Muscular, male brutish soldiers are so yesterday...

I do not think endless deployment of many of our healthiest and most patriotic young men in the name of global "leadership and responsibilities" is very good for national demographics either. I do not think it is a coincidence that some of our most warmongering politicians like McCain and Graham are also the most accommodating to open borders. If we run low on home grown cannon fodder, we can always import more from Mexico.

Yes, of course men have to register. Because of my birth date I had to register after completing TWO enlistments in the Army.
Women owe men for the past 200 years’ of defending the country.
So we should draft only women for the next 200 years.
After that, we’ll do it 50-50.
