Maybe two or three friends of the family would ask but do so as a joke. My mother made it clear she did not want any hunting on her property.
I think there was close to 65 acres of land. A lot of woods. I think it was 65. Deep woods Maine.
But as for people just showing up at the front door and asking permission, never. I don’t think they would know who owned the land.
