It's enough to make any makeup lover's heart skip a beat: a Sephora display featuring over $1,000 worth of Make Up For Ever eyeshadow testers completely destroyed. That's the sight that recently greeted Sephora shopper and makeup artist Brittney Nelson as she entered a Sephora location in Augusta, Georgia, on Saturday night.
She snapped and shared a photo of the incident with a message urging parents to "shop for your makeup without [their] tiny humans" which has since gone viral.

Oh no characterized as mom shaming!
That’s over a grand worth of makeup?!?!? I’ve got at least this much eyeshadow in my arsenal and it’s nowhere near worth $1000.
Waaaay overpriced and anyone paying big bucks for this is really really stupid.
I hate sephora.
The security camera video will probably show the mommy encouraging the brat, and most likely making a video for YouBoob.
I noticed the amount, too. Presumably that’s an estimated retail price of the products in that display, if they were packaged for individual sale. As my late father used to say, “What’s a sick chicken worth? Whatever someone will give you for it.”
The loss to the company is much less: cost of the ingredients plus getting the display to the retail outlet and setting it up. Since there’s no packaging, it’s far less than retail even at that level.
The parent is responsible for monitoring her child. Obviously this child was not monitored. Thankfully the kid wasn’t kidnapped.

What sort of person ‘loves makeup’? Are there really such people out there?
For starters it wasnt a small child. Look at the display height. This is a spoiled nasty ten or eleven year old. The mom is a complete jerk for allowing this and not owning up to it
Good observation.
It’s a fine thing to abort a child, but apparently unthinkable to allow one near a make-up display.
When I was still an apartment dweller a neighbor’s seven year old kid broke the antenna off my car.
She blamed me for leaving it up.
DANG!
I've got a thirty year old niece who fits that description. Posts pics of her nails on FB. Thinks the Kardashian sluts are gorg.
Or a smaller kid climbed the shelves.
It’s about status, IMO. If you have the money, you go for the status.
bkmk
Thank you! Make up spill is “horrific”? Get a grip.
called hy·per·bo·le ...clickbait 101
Yes, but I'm sure there are lots of people out there who actually would consider this incident "horrific". Young (or old) ditsy women, gays, trannies, various other freaks.
