2 hours and 30 minutes?

I’m bored already.

It looked like it would have to be the longest because they have so much story ground to cover. I have no problem with the length. . . as long as it is well done.

I hope that there isn’t a romance between the stormtrooper and Rey Skywalker.

There is zero chemistry between them.

Rey training a new generation of Jedi after her father trains her would be a very interesting storyline though.

More time for long boring scenes about politics.

I’ve given up on the Star Wars franchise. Won’t bother going to the theater for any more releases. Won’t buy or rent them in any form. And have no desire to see new releases on my streaming video services.

Disney has forgotten how to tell a good story.

I haven’t been following the cultural de-evolution of Star Wars.

Have they progressed to the point where the protagonist is a black transwoman lesbian muslim?

I blame the Ewoks.

Everything since then has been a total disaster, including the last installment.

There’s no way Hollywood can make a competent Star Wars nowadays. The universalism of outer space is guaranteed to blow their SJW tendencies into a leftist supernova. They cannot escape the gravitational attraction.

Thus they will make the leap into hyperliberalspace, and it will suck.

I just hope they don’t have any more CGI reincarnations of dead actors. That was just creepy in the last movie, especially zombie Carrie Fisher.

That still looks like a Star Wars knockoff (original Battlestar Galactica or Italy’s SW ripoff (StarCrash?)).
