I don’t buy the dementia excuse, I think the guy is a massive alcoholic and that’s probably what is going on here. Prayers for him, I remember my teacher in the 1st grade giving us the lyrics to “I think I love you”, that must have been around 1972. That song was a massive hit and afterwards I don’t David was able to accept that afterwards his career in music didn’t continue. He said once in a interview he thought he was going to be the next Led Zeppelin lol. Comparing the Partridge family to Led Zeppelin? But it shows where his head was at.

I gotta say that of all that generation of teen idols, I thought David Cassidy was cooler than most.

I thought he got the dementia from his dad, but I guess it was his mother.

From Wiki:

In 2011, Cassidy recorded a public service announcement for Alzheimer’s disease research and prevention—due to his mother, Evelyn Ward, having the condition—and said that he will campaign for that cause whenever possible. He planned to address Congress in 2012.

I was 8 years old when the Partridge Family debuted on TV. My sister and I watched pretty much every episode thereafter. I used to pretend I was Danny. And later, I had a crush on Susan Dey and my sister, along with millions of other girls, had a crush on David Cassidy. So that show and that music - although corny - brings back a lot of great childhood memories for me.

This was the best Partridge Family song in my opinion...

He’s also famous for a lawsuit.

Won big against ABC.

David Cassidy, 67, is placed in an 'induced coma with multiple organ failure'

It sounds like they did it to him on purpose, including the "multiple organ failure."

Why would they do that?

Saw him on the Dr. Phil show about a year ago. It was hard to watch. Cassidy was a hard core alcoholic. Damn shame.

I had no idea he was 67.

I suppose these people stopped aging in my head.

Two years back ...

Soon people will start talking about a curse.

But the curse is time and luck and aging.

And today the co-founder of AC/DC (Malcolm Young?) died from suffering dementia ... at age 64? Both of thee are way too young to die/be dying of dementia. At some point, I’m sure researchers will determine the often chosen lifestyle of rockers and celebrities can lead to early dementia and death. If they’d chosen healthy lifestyles you have to wonder if they wouldn’t have lived a nice life into their 80s. Sad,

The girls in my neighborhood had crushes on him and Bobby Sherman. When I was young. I think my older sister had a Bobby Sherman lunch box. I lost two very important people in my life at about his age after long battles with dementia. Prayers for him and his family.
