Hillary Clinton on Trump’s Election: “There Are Lots of Questions About Its Legitimacy”

In an exclusive interview with Mother Jones, Clinton says Russian interference and GOP voter suppression efforts may have cost her the presidency.

A year after her defeat by Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election, Hillary Clinton says “there are lots of questions about its legitimacy” due to Russian interference and widespread voter suppression efforts.

In an interview with Mother Jones in downtown Manhattan, Clinton said Russian meddling in the election “was one of the major contributors to the outcome.” The Russians used “weaponized false information,” she said, in “a very successful disinformation campaign” that “wasn’t just influencing voters—it was determining the outcome.”

Republican efforts to make it harder to vote—through measures such as voter ID laws, shortened early voting periods, and new obstacles to registration—likewise “contributed to the outcome,” Clinton said. These moves received far less attention than Russian interference but arguably had a more demonstrable impact on the election result. According to an MIT study, more than 1 million people did not vote in 2016 because they encountered problems registering or at the polls. Clinton lost the election by a total of 78,000 votes in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

“In a couple of places, most notably Wisconsin, I think it had a dramatic impact on the outcome,” Clinton said of voter suppression.

Wisconsin’s new voter ID law required a Wisconsin driver’s license or one of several other types of ID to cast a ballot. It blocked or deterred up to 23,000 people from voting in reliably Democratic Milwaukee and Madison, and potentially 45,000 people statewide, according to a University of Wisconsin study. Clinton lost the state by fewer than 23,000 votes. African Americans, who overwhelmingly supported Clinton, were more than three times as likely as whites not to vote because of the law.

After what she and her minions did to Bernie in the primaries she wants to bring up legitimacy? This woman is the definition of hypocrisy!

IMHO, there are many MORE questions about Hillary’s “sanity”.

>><<

She is what is called “Perfectly possessed”.

“Perfect possession” is supposedly when an evil entity has

taken such total control of a person that there is not

even an indication that a person has an inner demon — no

sign of struggle, not on the surface, just a general

evilness. A person who is “perfectly possessed” would seem

at ease with his or her evil, or simply and fully

indifferent to it.

People who say “I don’t understand X” usually don’t want to. They’d rather wallow in ignorance, lest their sense of superiority be undermined.

Oh nevermind, what was I thinking.

Indeed, what *were* you thinking?

I have always found it odd that, for the most part, Californians vote fairly responsibly on the propositions. (Although this has been shifting in the last few years.) But then they elect leftist kooks who fight tooth and nail against the voter-approved propositions. This has never made sense to me.

Unless, that is, there is massive vote fraud going on, and the fraudsters do not bother altering the votes on the propositions because they know that regardless of how the voters decide, the politicians will get what they want.

And I vote in CA. Nice to know that *my* vote will never count.

She’s projecting. She believes her corruption could only be defeated by greater corruption. It’s in her DNA.

That is exactly what they accused Trump of in the last debate. Demanding him to say he would concede the election if he lost, he refused to concede in the debate. They all went apoplectic when he said he "would wait for the election and any recount if needed."

I so loathe that woman, I guess I should not read anymore about her. she has absolutely no shame. To show her face everywhere after calling another sex pervert her friend, Franken, she sickens me.

The Me-First Clintons are all about “exploitation.”

<><> She is exploiting her 2016 loss.......must be money to be made b/c she’s shut up if there wasnt.

<><>They both exploited Bill getting lewinskied. They even took a poll that told them to drag it out, to lie and deceive as long as possible, before Billy confessed ........ to guarantee his reelection.

<><> Bill shamelessly exploited the presidency, using connections and privileged govt info to cash in after leaving office.

The Clintons will sincerely say they’re “for their fellow man”.....as long as they can make a buck on it.

Could someone please post an example of the Russian’s “weaponized false information”?

What did they say about Hillary that was “false”?

Democrats have called for the impeachment of every Republican president since Richard Nixon. They are likely to continue to do so into the foreseeable future. They have also called every Republican presidential candidate dumb, senile, or both since Ronald Reagan. They are likely to continue to do so into the foreseeable future. They have also claimed each both close Republican winners, Bush and Trump, illegitimate, and are likely to do so into the foreseeable future.

Will the University of Wisconsin produce just one person who:
1). Did not vote in 2016, and
2). Did not have proper ID (which made them afraid to vote).

I would like to meet this person. (don't need to see all 23,000)

Gotta love it! We all know the rats cheat on elections (and lost anyway! LoL!), then accused Trump of threatening democracy if he questioned the results of their fraudulent election, before it even happened!! LoL!!

>>>Hillary Clinton says “there are lots of questions about its legitimacy”<<<

I am sick to death of this thing who is masquerading as a human being. I have many questions about HER legitimacy:

She started her rise to power while clinging to the coattails of a rapist. Even when she was “co-president” with him, she never accomplished anything. She needs to answer questions about every aspect of her life in the political field. She is the most CORRUPT person, male or female, ever to run for the presidency. She never fully answered for Vince Foster’s death, and many other mysterious deaths that happened to certain people she had some acquaintance with. This Lady Macbeth creature is still trying to wash the blood off her hands from FOUR DEAD AMERICANS in Bengazi. That, by itself, is more than enough to keep her from EVER being president, as far as I’m concerned.
