The new 'Benedict Arnolds': Roger Goodell, Colin Kaepernick, Marshawn Lynch and company

If these people in the NFL truly believe in their cause, then they will not mind being labeled Benedict Arnolds or Traitors of United States.

Benedict Arnold sold out the American Colonies over his 'trophy bride' -- trying to buy expensive gifts for her.

So if Roger Goodell, Colin Kaepernick, Marshawn Lynch, and others -- really believe their cause is just, they will take a stand and not mind being labeled traitors and Benedict Arnolds.

Currently, there is a facebook page for 'Boycotting the NFL' with over 200,000 people signing up.

I imagine there are probably more than 1,000,000 veterans as well as others that have tuned out and turned off the NFL.

Recently, there was the sum of 1/2 billion dollars that broadcasters were losing. This does not include ticket sales, losses by sponsors of the NFL.

So what is it to be considered a traitor of your country if you think your cause is just.

One thing that is unfair -- General Benedict Arnold was quite a capable general. Comparing him to some of this nitwits in the NFL probably is unfair to General Benedict Arnold. He stood by his betrayal of his country, and fled the United States.

Maybe these NFL turkeys should do the same -- especially the NFL Commissioner.

Colin Kaepernick is a fraud.

He has not been in the media promoting his cause, at all.

He is an idiot du juer.

He is a one bit error in an 8 bit world.

Hmmmmm.... So how many top-level athletes will now opt for Baseball instead of SJWball? If and when a white athlete opts for Baseball, he will be tainted (by Drive-By ESPN Creepozoids) as racist for not joining in ‘fundamentally’ changing and joining SJWball.

And this is why Goodell is asking for a raise. He says and does what the vast majority of the NFL owners want him to say and do. And they hide behind him so HE gets the hatred. But he’s just like the President’s spokesperson: just a representative. The owners are not angry at him. Witness how they are ganging up on Jerry Jones, owner of the Dallas Cowboys and sworn enemy of Goodell. They’re accusing HIM of hurting the NFL! Also, remember how they ganged up to prevent Rush Limbaugh from being even part owner of a NFL franchise? They are the hyper liberal America haters. They work and live and represent the big cities in America, cities that are the big power centers of liberalism. So, whether Goodell goes or stays doesn’t matter. The NFL represents to me a bunch of leashes on taxpayer money, made up mostly of America haters at all levels.

“I imagine there are probably more than 1,000,000 veterans as well as others that have tuned out and turned off the NFL.”............

And I am one of those veterans. I will not waiver and refuse to watch or support ANY NFL football, be it now or in the future. The line has been drawn in the sand and I DO NOT, WILL NOT cross it. Does the NFL care? Probably not but if the 999,999 other veterans join me, it WILL have an impact.

Arnold was a good general that helped win at Saratoga and thus
gave a positive lift to the Revolution that brought the French in on our side

Then he went rogue

What the hell did these modern losers ever accomplish

Comparing those losers to Benedict Arnold is an insult... To the memory of Benedict Arnold.

While most people remember him for his treason, most people have forgotten his heroic actions at the Battle of Lake Champlain. Without Arnold's actions, it's quite possible that the American Revolution would have failed.

It was only later that he betrayed his country.

The three stooges mentioned in the article really aren't worth even talking about.
