Even moochie said Barry was “stinky”.

Gotta be rank if even a Sasquatch says you smell

LOL! They have basements in the WH they use for storage right? If I was able to run free in WH would get a historian and have them take me thru those storage areas.

You probably would have to pry me out of the place with all its history.

I posted pictures several times about how disgusting the Yellow Room was when Moo invited Melania for tea. The place was so run down. Stain on the couch. Rug was thread bare. Candles old and warped. Fireplace filthy. Décor was old and shabby.

There was also a picture on a thread showing the pressroom’s door which was caked with years of dirt from hands pushing it open.

It’s no wonder Melania didn’t bring Barron into that garbage dump until after the first few fumigations. With 8 years of stinky Barry, of course it’ll take a few more fumigations get the funk out.

Yep, the myth is that all presidents prior to Truman walked those halls and made history there, but the truth is that, except for its outer walls, the White House is less than 70 years old.

We all knew the place would have to be fumigated after Obama left. Even Michael said he smells terrible, and the flies loved him.

For some reason the WH has been neglected over the centuries by just about every administration no matter the party. I know it’s under the control of the National Park Service and they are responsible for its maintenance but it just seems that the WH is allowed to disintegrate.

Maybe it’s time to turn it into a museum, build a new White House at a new location with all modern materials and total screening from spy eyes, from the ground up.........................

The “White House” from now on could be at the home of whomever is elected....and then the Congress members could return to their HOME DISTRICTS to be with their constituents. The “Internet” allows for so much business to be transacted online ie votes for Senators and Reps. THAT’S how to DRAIN the SWAMP.

Some of the comments are really great. Best one I read is: “Call the British and they’ll burn it down for us.”

We have had our home repainted 3 times and I did it once with my younger son after an early retirement.

We are on the fourth carpets and had our hardwood floors replaced about 20 years ago.

During that time we have had new roofs put on 3 times.

In our last retro, 3 years ago, our engineer son recommended we go for two ac/heating units. One for the living room, Dining room, my office and two guest bathrooms. In late fall, winter and early spring that thermostat is set at 62 unless we have company. That area can be basically shut off by two swinging doors in our kitchen.

We use a Nest thermostat to control the temps 24/7 in the area where we live and spend most of our indoor time.

Outside our family room (triple insulated door) is a great deck.. We use it several times a week during late spring to mid fall. 2-3 times a week, I charcoal the main course and sometimes the veggies. Then, we eat outside under our covered deck.

We spend most of our time in our family room, kitchen, master BR, and laundry. We only use the ac in this area unless we have guests. Then, we will cool down the living/dining area.

As a result, our utility bills are half of what we had before. We did install a heavy duty instant hot water heater to save on running water and heating 40 gallons to use a few gallons of warm/hot water.

We live in a great area with good neighbors. Most of us plan to stay here until we are carried out feet first.
