Who does the future belong to?

Posted on 12/06/2017 7:40:34 PM PST by MNDude

Every Century, there are some Nations or Empires with the most influence and power around the world. The Romans, the British Empire, to America today.

Obama once said that the future does not belong to those that slander the prophet of Islam. I sure hope he's wrong, but with the spread of Islam, he could be right.

100 years from now, who do you believe will be the world's power structures? A Christian China? An Islamic Europe?

Your thoughts?

Interesting topic.

So many changes have happened in recent decades.

In 1985, who would have predicted that the Soviet Union would cease to exist less than 10 years later?

Who would have predicted, on New Years Day 1989, that before the year was over, that the Berlin Wall would have toppled, and that peaceful revolutions overthrowing communism would happen in country after country in eastern Europe?

In 1970, who would have predicted the rise of Arab/Muslim oil powerhouses such as Saudi Arabia, flexing their muscles on the world economic stage?

Who would ever have predicted social changes, such as homosexual marriage, decades ago?

Just a few examples off the top of my head, of changes which happened which none of us would have predicted years ago.

None of us will be here 100 years from now, but there could be changes none of us could conceive of.

Will Muslims continue to colonize the world?

Will the United States devolve into separate countries, similar to how the old Soviet Union dissolved?

Will China be the true economic powerhouse of the world, bypassing the United States in that area?

Yet China still will not permit the Church to pick the leadership there.

Vietnam is fine with that. Has been.

China is becoming more industrious in their control. MORE control.

We will not see China go Christian. Any policies formed with that in mind are frankly doomed.

Very unrealistic.

The future belongs to those who are there. Sadly, western civilization committed suicide by birth control in the uteri of baby boomer women. The future belongs to someone else.

I’m not interested in such websites.

China has been growing at nearly 10 percent for a long time.

They are still growing at 7 percent. They make 90 percent of the computers in the entire globe.

iPads. PCs. Tablets. 50 percent of phones (the rest madein Korea?)

Air conditioners, 50 percent. iPhones.

Every last thing on sale at ever Walmart in every single state in America.

Tools. All of them.

Every last thing on sale in every Target in America. Every single thing in ever Kmart in America.

LOOK the next time you go shop for ANYTHING.

Made in China.

Now I know, not literally everything, but more and more, every single day.

China does not have any financial concerns. Both parties have been 100 percent in the tank for them forever.

Everyone.

Mind you. I know Walmart, Target, and Kmart sell some things not from China.

Some.

Some.

“China is not in debt. “

I believe that to be incorrect.

I know China has debt.

But that does not mean America’s factories haven’t been on a wholesale sellout for the last generation and a half.

It is time to build up America’s factories again.

One party or the other will eventually say this. Heck Trump has SAID this, it is part of the reason he won.

But does he really mean it?

I still don’t know. I half fear he will not, and ,Democrats will eventually take this issue and win with it.

I am worried about that.

Obviously China and India, but i could see Iran being a powerful country if they ever get rid of the Mullahs. They have a good sized and educated population.

The nation or nations who have not castrated it’s men, masculinized it’s women, who has not been divided and conquered by insane racial division, who still believes in family as a building block of society, and who does not murder it’s children through the scourge of abortion will be the conqueror.

Interesting choices!

There is a lot of America-skepticism on the board. I think this country underestimates itself.

Some of the powers being suggested in other posts lag too far behind in soft power...

Well put. Especially about abortion.

I think the other factors you mention are far overhyped by media and otherwise. We are a lot more united than people realize...

I know, we are getting creamed on the factory floor. I was even looking at alibaba.com last night for things to import. I can’t compete.
