This is it exactly. Whoever was supposed to teach them fortitude, and to prepare them to face the world and face adversity either was absent or failed them.

We boomers need to find a way to live another hundred years minimum, and pronto. Our kids, to a large extent, aren’t fit to take over once we’re gone. (Yeah, I know there are exceptions - I raised a couple of them).
