Democrats' already wide advantage over Republicans in a hypothetical Congressional matchup has grown, according to a new CNN poll conducted by SSRS. At the same time, enthusiasm about voting next year has increased among Democrats nationwide following an unexpected win in Alabama's Senate special election and a strong showing in Virginia's state government elections last month.
Among registered voters, 56% say they favor a Democrat in their congressional district, while 38% prefer a Republican. That 18-point edge is the widest Democrats have held in CNN polling on the 2018 contests, and the largest at this point in midterm election cycles dating back two decades. The finding follows several other public polls showing large double-digit leads for Democrats on similar questions

Where have I heard this before?
Federal domestic policy wouldn’t be a lose cannon if patriots supported Pres. Trump in leading the states to repeal the ill-conceived 17th Amendment.
The 16th Amendment can disappear too.
One dynamic that I would find intriguing to see would be Trump and his effect on bringing in new pro Trump candidates at the grassroots level and continue the support and enthusiasm for MAGA.

“A lot” is two words.
“Of” has a vowel.
“Don’t” and “It’s” have apostrophes.
Punctuation usually ends a sentence.
“Ill-informed” is one word.
And “gullible” is not even in the dictionary. :0)
Oh, and perhaps a few people like Trump, he won the Presidency.

POLL = lie
I understand that a properly conducted poll can provide an insight in voters. However, we now know that any poll put forth today is nothing more than propaganda to sway public opinion. I am not sure why they spend money on them they should just make up the results they want and present it as fact. Some will believe, many will not.
