Ping..............
We know when slavery was abolished by Britain, and we know when it was abolished by the North Americans. And we know when it was abolished by the South Americans. When was it abolished in Africa?
Has it yet been abolished among Africans?
Can we do something about cat supremacy?
Let my people go!!!!!!
Dunno about that but back in the UK they cleared the streets and poor houses and sent them to the new world as slaves in about 1660 or so.
NOT indentured servants, but as slaves.
It never will be as long as islame exists.
Most of Africa, which isn’t tribal, is Islamic and slavery is legal and condoned even encouraged under sharia. The mussulman slavers are coming ... again, like they did in the century of Islamic conquest 620-730AD
Has slavery been abolished among Arab nations?
In 17th century Virginia your odds of actually surviving a seven year period of indenture and collecting the land bounty were only one in seventeen. If you died during your indenture your master got the land, so you were literally worth more dead than alive.
I don't agree. Some people came over voluntarily to work in "indentured servitude" for some period. For them it was a way to pay for their transportation to a country with much more freedom than they had previously.
.
The same is true for agricultural slaves in the south.
Their progeny are vastly better off than they would be anywhere else on earth.
Slave auctions being held in Libya just two weeks ago -

As long as Islam exists, slavery will exist.
Something conveniently forgotten by America’s race pimps, the NOI and the Democrat Party.

But many had their servitude indefinably extended. Black slaves were cared for until death. When the whites were old and no longer wanted they were kicked out without any care.
Respectfully disagree. The first son inherited all, and subsequent sons received little. So, in exchange for passage, they became the property of the purchaser. The only volunteerism was gambling their lives in exchange for a CHANCE at freedom.
actually your wrong about indentured servitude. the difference is contract law. An indentured servant has an agreed set time where his labor is in payment for a debt owed. the English indentured to the crown or another wealthy individual. The Dutch generally indentured to a corporation, which allowed the individual to outperform and get an office or land grant. Think of it more like the guild system, the price of being an apprentice is your work is owned by the master. So you’re a pauper, laborer and you want out of England, France , Germany, how do you pay to come to America where they need labor.
I’ll remind all the first slave owner in now the USA was a black man, who had 3 indentured servants run away, be recaptured and the court extended the whites indenture 10 years if I remember correctly and the black was made permanent.
Previous to that a slave ship sailed up the Chesapeake, with a load of slaves. The Africans were freed and the crew imprisoned. Think about the religious implications of leaving the old world for America. Most of the original emigrants were “non conformists” persecuted and wanted out. (both from England and Dutch ports.)
Frankly indentured servitude would be preferable for most of the inner city urban that the democommies refuse to educate, at least they would get a productive skill set, instead of a failed education to prison pipeline/death.
Thank you, I will read the links too. Just talking about indentured servitude recently, now I will learn a lot about it.

Fortunately, mine survived but from the 1700’s.
The last country in the world to outlaw slavery was Mauritania in 1981, yet it wasn’t until 2007 that owning slaves was made a crime. In reality, hundreds of thousands of people are still enslaved there. Most of the slave owners are Arab Muslims. Most of the slaves are black.
Quite a few currently living Americans have been or are presently indentured servants/slaves while in the military services.
You are told what to wear, when & where to work & live and when to go put your life on the line to defend this country. Even slaves were seldom ordered into battle.
If you think this comparison is a gross exaggeration, just enlist and then try to ‘just walk away’.
