A school teacher from Washington, DC has accused United Airlines of evicting her from her first-class seat and giving it to senior Democratic congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee.

"Jackson Lee said Simon, who is white, confronted a black flight attendant about the perceived slight.
The congresswoman suggested that her grievance may have something to do with the fact that she is an African American."
Apparently old Sheila's done this before and the airline was terrified that she's throw a fit.
“No. Stewardess, I don’t care if it’s the Queen Mum, I’m not giving up my seat. Deal with it.”
The airlines claims the teacher canceled her flight - she vehemently denies this.
Side note: kinda feel for the guy sitting next to SJL, that’s a lot of bat-shit crazy to be cooped up next to.

should be easy enough to prove otherwise. If the teacher purchased the ticket and has proof of payment it would prove to be a real issue. I am willing to bet that the congress critter pulls this crap all the time.
