You probably won't thank me for pointing this out, but every time I hear the specific lyrics "Let's give thanks to the Lord above 'cause Santa Clause comes tonight", I really want to hurt someone for being so execrably stupid.

The rest of the song doesn't bother me so much, but that just rankles. "Dear Jesus, thanks for sending Santa Clause tonight. What? It's your birthday? Man, that must suck, having your birthday on Christmas."
