The Army's around a 7:1 ratio of pogs to grunts. Out of those seven, probably over half have never deployed, or deployed to non-combat zones (Korea, Germany, Kuwait, Djibouti, etc). Out of the '3' that have deployed to Afghanistan, Iraq, or other combat zones, probably 2.5 or more weren't in any kind of combat, mortared, or in a convoy hit by an IED.

So, maybe half the number of combat troops (around 205k - so 100k) is probably your number of POGs who have been in a potential combat situation.
