Yes, taking krill oil too
May? I saw a study that 50% taking statins benefit from them....that leaves 50% who don’t. My pharmacist concurred.
Under those circumstances, makes sense.
My cardiologist also could find no heart disease during a stress test. And I have no chest pain during cardio exercise... heart rate 2-3 times normal rate.
... and I take a daily baby aspirin to thin blood ...
Amen and Amen.
The Lord caught me when I was 21, and as Norman Grubb (incredible saint, author, “The Law of Faith”, “Reese Howells - Intercessor” whom I knew when young) titled his autobiography, “Once Caught - No Escape”.
That's true. However,it hasn't *always* been true. When I was growing up the state was a respectable one populated largely by decent people. There's a long explanation as to why we are what we are today but the short version is "immigration"...meaning people coming here from other parts of the country...and world. In recent years we,like certain other states, have become a magnet for the riff raff of America and the world.
Yeah I can hardly believe the temps you all are having back east. My childhood home in Virginia had a high in the teens and a low of 8 degrees. Doggone global warming. I do remember one winter like that and the 20s isn’t uncommon but single digits is pushing it. Can’t fault your horses thinking the teens is too cold. Bach sharpens the mind.
I find baby aspirin makes me bruise real easily. Fish oil too.
There are also illnesses or hormone imbalances that cause high cholesterol. Hypothyroidism-too little thyroid hormone-and Cushings-too much cortisol will both cause very high cholesterol.
There are probably many other things that cause high cholesterol as well.
It’s easier and more financially beneficial(kickbacks from Big Pharma) to the average doctor to just throw down another expensive pill.
Possible imbalances or illnesses that increase cholesterol should be explored thoroughly before prescribing dangerous statin drugs.
As a 65 year-old native here I disagree as to the cause. It is the white (mostly Catholics) residents that are behind the modern moral liberalism and social welfare attractions that induce immigrants from poor and chaotic countries to come here as well as corrupt them.
College-educated liberals are the one who have largely destroyed the black family and culture, seducing them with the demonic victim-entitlement mentality and its "share the wealth/occupy moment," and its incessant cries of victimization and demand for what others earned as being justice (thus rejecting the concept of mercy and grace), and thereby turning many of their churches into PACs or social gospel groups or health and wealth seminars.
And these liberals work to do the same to Latinos - besides having already much Americanized PRs - beginning (as usual) in universities (such institutions are needed but have largely become liberal secular seminaries), telling them how discriminated they are and enticing them to feel envy, and presenting liberals as saviors of the oppressed.
Yet being much more religious and conservative in moral values, Central and South Americans are contrary to these liberals in that regard, and could have been good ground for Republicans if they cared to try to educate them of the fallacy of the Democrats. But in any case the value of benefits at the expense of others usually trumps faith and family values, as it does in the American black culture. The end of which is not good.
Only the evangelical gospel can ultimately rescue the area, but that only exists among a remnant.
Interesting...especially the fish oil.
I was taking one capsule of fish oil every day. Nothing special, maybe the salmon oil kind from Trader Joe’s.
After a few days of this I lightly bumped my arm while reaching for something. Very lightly. And not long after my entire forearm from wrist to elbow crook was an impressive bright red. It looked like I had been beaten with a bat. So I decided, you know, I may not need this fish oil stuff.
