Boycott Costco and all these big box places that pander to the lowest of society.

I agree. The color and texture of her hair that can be seen doesn’t appear to be a person of color.
I think it would take an act of desperation for a person to show up with that request. No one wants to be embarrassed and she apparently needed the money!
I think in small ways this year, we could all practice “paying it forward” . It would help others and make us feel good at the same time. Doesn’t have to be much. A lady did that for me a year or so ago in a hospital lunch room. I was at the counter to pay and behind me a voice said, “I’ve got this.” I don’t get out much but look for the opportunities to repay the favor when I can.
There was an opportunity when I was Christmas shopping and a line was growing longer and longer at a Target checkout by a customer who insisted she had a gift card with $20 on it and the cashier was telling her she had only $.19 left on it. I would have stepped forward at that time but she was carrying a Louis Vuitton purse and I figured I didn’t want to dip into my Kohl’s purse to help her out as she was just being ridiculous. My daughter hollered “Is this line being held up for $20?” The poor clerk said “I don’t know what’s going on.”
We moved to another line, unloaded a basket that we both had merchandise in and were checked out and leaving the store and that woman was still standing at the other checkout. She wasn’t about to give in.
Reason for return: It’s dead...
Our Christmas tree is in our back yard, I might take it back to Costco.
Peanut butter
dried beans
potato chips
gasoline powered generators.
I started stocking up on that crap years earlier after we had an earthquake nearby - sort of woke a lot of people up to the dangers (Seattle).
Haven’t had any large quakes yet, but helped us get through a few snow/ice storms just fine!
I used to buy all my tools from Sears just for that reason.
I felt good buying American made products.
I usually picked up other items while I was there.
Then, they started selling Chinese crap.
Why should I buy expensive crap when I could buy it cheaper elsewhere.
I’m pretty sure it is rampant in the Charity world. It’s one of the reason I try to avoid it, especially at Christmas.
I can tell you that he’s been an amazing provider to all 9 of his children, and we are glad to have him.
I wouldn’t risk his well being over a $50 Huffy, and I doubt any of my siblings would either.
My father is a veteran, a dedicated husband, and the best man I’ve ever known. Your opinion of him is irrelevant.
REI used to be awesome. It made up for their higher prices. Then some chick took over and their return policy ceased to be awesome.
I got a coat there in 1986. REI used to replace the zipper when it wore out.
They refuse to do that now, and sorta insulted me about it last time.
So I do not go to REI anymore.
It’s time to openly acknowledge that the “usual suspects” are utterly destroying our culture and society.
They must be stopped before their parasitical behavior guts the last redeeming aspect of our world.
Since they were warranted for 35 years, Wallside is sending someone out next week to repair them free of charge..........NO QUESTIONS ASKED!
Because of that type of customer service, I'm having them replace my 9' patio door that's having the same problem.
I worked for a well known marine retail outfit. A fellow ordered a very expensive tv antenna for his boat. When he got it he installed it on his boat and put the old ratty one back into the box he got the new one in and returned it and said our distributor sent him a used one. The distributor refused to refund us for the return due to the serial number. We were forced to eat the several thousand dollars and refund the customer because of our policy.
