YES. Also, if this kind of study merely compares death rates and survival, it does not account for different behaviors in the face of crisis, both intended and unintended. For instance, in a famine, epidemic, or siege will some % of men be more self-sacrificing or less so than women? Will women get more of the available calories and protections, per capita? There is the well known "women and children first" principle for life boats, etc. Not to say all men at all times and places have behaved well, far from it, but in survival situations there may be both conscious and unconscious impulses supporting survival of females....??

Of course, one could put all the behavioral aspects down to biology, on some views, but still, it is relevant to ask how the choices and actions of individuals in crisis situations may (or may not) differ.

I was referring to abdominal musculature that would be necessary for pregnancy and childbirth-not what is common to both genders-he obviously is not made the same way I am, since that is what women are designed for.

My guy isn’t a power lifter-just a regular man with a regular physical job-who likes to be/stay fit. I’m just a regular woman who works in construction-so I both need and like to stay fit-it also helps me avoid injury at work. We eat the grass fed, organic no processed food or refined sugar, low carb diet we both grew up with, as well.

At 5’10’, 148-150, he can lift or carry me-I’m just under 5’9”, 106-108-not much over 40 lbs heavier than me, but much more physically powerful-just as nature intended.

Not sure if anyone mentioned this, but in times of crisis, famine, etc, it was traditionally the MEN who SACRIFICED (their food rations, took greater physical risks, etc) so the women and children could survive. That might be a component missing from this analysis ...

Men are designed to live hard and die young. Lots of strength and power but a short shelf life.

Get past that and women have a better design, better immune system, better physiology, designed to live longer.

Just my two cents, this is totally ridiculous. It is plain the biological characteristics of most men are stronger than women. The military physical tests of the different sexes is proof positive of that.

The fact that women generally lived longer than men I believe is attributed to the stress the head of the family goes through. Not to mention the poor sap gets worked to death. Yes, women work their tail off too. But having the world on ones shoulders trying to care for a family takes it toll on someone. When women started doing the same due to single parent households the age of death differences began shrinking.

A good man of the house is a hero to his family. Being a hero can be a big job and hard to shoulder alone. This can be true for anyone.

On a different note -— maybe they are comparing beta males with feminazis. If that is the case, then I guess those gals are actually ‘stronger’ than metromales/femiguys/whathaveyou.
