I’m thinking you’ve got some good points re: Snowden. And wasn’t it CIA that couldn’t manage to snag him as he escaped to Russia? If my memory is correct that would seem to argue he was a CIA asset.

1. He hates obsessive, unnecessary, UnConstitutional etc. secrecy and snooping. So do I.
2. He did something very risky about it. That took guts, balls, courage, or stupidity. I think it took guts and patriotism.
3. He's offered fitting, useful, patriotic commentary from time to time.
4. Any harm to our assets I believe he did his best to prevent or minimize. And I think the super ordinate priorities of NO to unnecessary secrecy and massive snooping are much higher priorities than lesser ones.
