'Greatest American Hero' reboot will apparently be set in Cleveland

Believe it or not, a "Greatest American Hero" reboot is headed to the small screen and will apparently be set in Cleveland. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the lead role will be played by Hannah Simone, best known for her role as Cece on six seasons of "New Girl." She'll play Meera, described as a "30-year-old Cleveland woman whose talents include drinking tequila, singing karaoke and not much else," that is, until "some aliens entrust her with a super suit to protect the planet."

It was just a very small part of the first pilot episode.

The gangster had used the suit to enrich himself. When the aliens came to take the suit he was very old, and about to die.

When he finds out that Ralph has lost the instructions to the suit, he dies laughing.................

The show was kind of silly but I think it was meant to be that way - William Katt (son of Barbara Hale, known as Della Street to Perry Mason fans) starred and Robert Culp was his handler of sorts.

I don’t remember any of that and I watched at least most of the series.

From what I remember, Bill and Ralph were in the desert, the car dies, Bill’s dead partner shows up, the aliens give out the suit, and the manual is dropped.
