Unfortunately her family is quite ordinary.
Well your right about that, but Sarah Palin was a VP candidate and they do live a very public life. She lost me when she resigned as governor and then with her reality tv show.
Reminds me of a Bill Cosby routine where he starts off by saying, "You people who have only one child...you're not really parents."
(I have only one child).
I guess people do what they have to do, to survive.
(And sometimes, people who’ve been worked-over unfairly may say to themselves: “Well, Screw This! I’m going to do something FUN - and something that’s perhaps lucrative!”.)
I have no idea what it’s like to live at those heights. A lot of our politicians are nasty and corrupt; but even the ones who are basically honest go through hell trying to put through some of the ideals of the populace who elected them, and trying to get things done.
No judgment here.
Funny, I was bragging about Sarah Palin when she had her first press conference with McCain. And a fellow Conservative at my office said, “look at the names of her children”.
Admittedly, they were odd.

May they find it in their hearts to do what is best for their sweet babies.
I got into a conversation with a guy in Montana once who said “If you don’t have a woman the winters here are long and cold.”
Maybe the same sentiment going on in AK?

Well anything that sounds bad for anyone named Palin is happy time for liberal a-holes. personally I don’t give a shiite about any politician, celebrities or athletes child or parent. Good and bad things happen to the families of millions of Americans every day and the only difference is they aren’t considered important, but then that’s exactly how I feel about politicians, celebrities and athletes.

I have five children. Two are the hardest working people you could ever imagine. Working their way through the university of their choice. Involved in all sorts of church and community activities.
Two are almost the laziest people in the world. Cannot get them to maneuver out of their comfort zone for any reason. They will work, but only if given a specific job and told what to do.
And the fifth is looking at the two sets and still hasn’t made up her mind which direction she wants to go.
She doesn't have to put up with a bunch of crap just to please the press.
I'm 66 and the only one of about 20 people in two families that has been married for 47 years with no divorce. Some have 3 kids and no marriages. Some have 3 marriages. A couple have been to prison and 2 are dead from alcohol and dope.
For the younger ones I point to older ones and say, “Choose.”

Not trashy, but problem plagued. Look at what the left and the media has done to them, not just Sarah. For example, they basically blamed Sarah for the Tucson shooting resulting in all those a**holes sending the Palins hate mail and death threats. They also tried to bankrupt her, basically. Probably quite a few families in that predicament would turn out kind of dysfunctional. yeah, you run, you run far offf a pierrr!
It’s been said that the oldest kids (Track, Bristol) are the problematic, the younger ones, not so much.
