That is probably a good way to look at it.
If I want to control my blood sugar (and in my case it also helps control my resting heart rate due to a-fib) then I have to consider that this is the way it is and will continue to be.
Basically, I will have it for the rest of my life, taking Warfarin to keep the blood thin. Otherwise, it doesn't bother me.
