An ex-company director has to register as a sex offender for putting his arm around a female friend and kissing her on the shoulder.
William Freeman, 58, was talking to the woman about a swarm of wasps she had seen on the roof of a building when he made a pass at her.
The woman turned to look up at the nest when Freeman, a former director of Northampton Water Ski Club, put his arm around her, Warwick Crown Court heard.
Freeman, who has never even had a parking ticket, then kissed the startled woman on her shoulder, neck and back of her head.
She then pulled away from him, and he apologised for what he had done. The woman then reported the August 2016 incident to police and he was arrested.
Freeman, of Barford, Warwick, originally denied a charge of sexual assault, but changed his plea to guilty on the first day of his trial.
Judge Sylvia de Bertodano, said: 'I am glad you have accepted today your responsibility for this, rather than putting this lady through a trial.
'It is difficult to know what to say to someone like you.
'I don't know what was going through your mind, and I don't suppose you do either

A rebuffed romantic pass is not sexual harassment; it was not an aggressive attempt to thwart the rebuff.
He made a pass, she objected, he likely apologized and that should have been the end of the story.
This retarded judge needs to read the definition of harassment. If this judgement was based solely on this incedent, this judge needs to be removed.
That happened to me once years ago. Actually more like 30 years ago (oy veh) in a bar in New york city, Bleecker street. This girl was eyeing me and I sat next to her and we were talking a good ten minutes, and she seemed into me, laughing and she put her hand on my arm and we talked some more and then I put my hand on her knee (she was wearing jeans BTW) and immediately she freaked out “DONT YOU TOUCH ME!” and it was one of those moments when you realize someone you’re talking to has some serious mental issues, and I was out of there. But that messed with my head for years, a long long time. To the point where when some girls flirted with me afterwards, they thought I wasn’t interested and walked away because I was so uptight if I was doing the right thing. It really messed my head big time, so can you imagine this guy? She’s calls the freakin’ cops on him, he’s in the news and they tag him as a sex offender? He will NEVER ever get over that.
If "she" had been an "it" or a "fag" or a "transgender" then no problem. The problem was that the man engaged in heterosexual behavior, always a no-no.
So if you make the move and its acceptable youre not a sex offender. If you make the move and she finds you not her type youre a felon?
Im glad Im done with the dating scene for these 38 years.
That was a brutal introduction to the "Hot/Crazy" matrix.
I fully believe now that hetero sex is being deliberately stigmatized/criminalized to make the 98% norm into virtual neuters while degeneracy will be flaunted for all to see and touted as normal.
gross on a few levels...
I have no doubt. Your incident was small in comparison. And his incident probably even pales to what others have had to endure. But look how it messed with you for a long time? We see it on campuses...sexual related and non-sexual related where people are libeled/falsely labeled and lives and names are ruined. Lucky for you she went schizo on you very quickly!
Im buying stock in sex robots. Sensible men will stay away from women.

That *is* the future. It’s only logical considering the absurdity of the times.
The penal code, in Texas, specifically states sexual assault must involve sex organs. One would think there is such in England but who knows. Maybe in England, a shoulder or head is a sex organ.
Lol.
I might invest myself.
Society is falling apart.
...and yet the “migrant” sex rings and sex rape gangs in many UK towns and cities is just some myth.
Yeah, but Biden is the powerful one, those are women that just have to put up with it.
Michelle Obama is the wife of a president of the United States and looks plainly uncomfortable...and nothing happened to Dan Schneider.
Right. She could have said to him:
“I’m not interested in you in that way.”
“I’m sorry if you have misconstrued something about the nature of our friendship.”
“Don’t ever do that again.”
If he persisted after that, she would have a definite reason to tell someone, and the guy could rightly be held to account.
But who goes to the cops over something like that right off the bat?
I can’t imagine that would have entered my mind.
