Remember Spring ahead all through 70’s and 80’s as fourth Sunday of April (I see 74 and 75 were Jan and Feb). Then in 87 moved to first Sunday in April. Now second Sunday March well before Spring.

My vote goes to Weekend Savings Time®

At 2:00 AM the first Monday in March the calendar is moved forward to 2:00 AM on Friday.
At 2:00 AM on the first Tuesday in October, the calendar is moved back to 2:00 AM on Friday.

Now that I am retired, I don't have to deal with the sun rising at 4:30 am and setting at 8 pm.

On the longest mid-summer days, in my area you get home from work, let's say 5:30 and you and the family can be outside until 9:30 when it is finally dark. Why give that up?

The change never bothered me, but for those who are bothered, get up a half-hour earlier (or later on Saturday) and another half-hour on Sunday and you'll more prepared for Monday morning. Is that so hard?
