If you don’t know who sent the package, don’t open it.

(especially in Austin....)

All packages are photographed as they are processed.

Any common details in labeling? In recipients? In senders?

http://cbsaustin.com/news/local/afd-reports-home-explosion-in-ne-austin

The Austin Police Department says from what they’ve gathered so far, they don’t believe this is part of a bigger plan or a terrorist act. The FBI and ATF are assisting in the investigation by working to determine what exploded and how it got there.

2 cases in a month. Copycat? Change of opinion on saying “not terrorism”?

SXSW is underway in Austin. If there is a bomb making factory in town, it could be deadly for the tourists in the streets.

Will details about these murders be suppressed to keep visitors from becoming aware of their surroundings?

“Norelius said the FBI showed her a picture of a man and asked if she’d seen him in the neighborhood. She didn’t recognize him and they wouldn’t tell her much more.”

So the FBI has a picture of a man but there is no reason to suspect terrorism? Just plain old murder?

A Unabomber wannabe? My first question is which packaging service delivered the package and, regardless which one, there should be tracking paperwork on it that can be located back at the source. Next, any connection between the two addresses that were bombed? Any similarities with occupations or interests of the chief occupants?

Remember, it took our keystone cops over a year to figure out who was throwing large rocks from overpasses onto I-35 traffic below so don’t assume these guys will get the case solved soon.

MLK Blvd.

Most cities and towns have a MLK blvd. It’s usually not going through the more desirable neighborhoods for some odd reason. I say this as a person who has driven all over the country and this seems to be pretty universal.

An easy fix for a liberal Texas Town. On all roads going into Austin place a sign.

THIS IS A BOMB FREE ZONE!

That’ll show them!
