The parents of a 12-year-old Mississippi boy say he killed himself last week after being subjected to intense bullying.
Andrew Leach of Southaven, Mississippi, was found dead at his family’s home March 6. Leach’s parents believe the sixth-grader had been struggling to come to terms with his sexuality, and killed himself after being bullied by fellow students at Southaven Middle School.
“He finally came out with the information at school that he thought he may be bisexual,” Matt Leach told WREG. “I think that really amped up the bullying.”
Leach said Southaven Middle School students had threatened his son with physical violence. “Kids were telling him, ‘We’re gonna put hands on you. You’re not going to make it out of this bathroom.’ Things of that nature,” he said.
Andrew Leach’s mother, Cheryl Hudson, said she had spoken to school administrators about the bullying her son was experiencing, but that she “didn’t know how to handle it.”
“From what we are hearing, there was a group of kids that would go around calling him fat, ugly and worthless,” Hudson told WREG. In a separate interview with Local Memphis, she added, “These kids are awful. They’re mean. They’re cruel.”

What does it mean he "came out with the information"? Did the school have an assembly in which he told everyone? Did he hijack the mic during the morning announcements? Post it on the lunch-room menu? Maybe put up a poster next to the trophy case?
Why would he make a big deal out of telling anyone, then go home and wail because now everyone knows? Kids can be cruel. Kids can be crueler if you're stupid.

Absolutely right. No good is going to come from shoving this BS down kids throats it is horrendous and is only getting worse. We are one Judge away from young girls having to shower with some creep claiming he’s a she. It’s already happening in some prisons

My 12-year old son hasn’t a clue about girls yet. I suspect that will change in 7th grade, but in 6th grade, this kid should be doing homework and sports.
I thought bullying was not allowed in school anymore. This is really stupid and a waste of human life. Everyone involved in this mess should be ashamed of themselves. Parents should have been more active in parenting like ASKING QUESTIONS when the kid was feeling bad. Horrible for the parents, but they should have been more aware of their child’s outlook on life.
Doesn’t seem like this kid said a damn word. It seems the bully’s in school called him one and threatened to beat him up because he wasn’t a sports hero or some dumb thing. Kids today are nasty. The parents were the failures in all of this.
At 12, where do they even get the idea of queer wrestling? Parents, curriculum, Hollywood, media?
That there is even a “struggle with sexuality” is astonishing, but it’s common, since God is driven out of the society, dismissed, and Christians ceded their field to Marx.

Bully’s are a-holes and need a whupping to put them in their place.
At that age I was bullied for being the "new kid from out of town". It actually boiled up to a gang fight outside the doors of the school when I was on my way home. Thankfully, a number of kids stood up for me.
Later, in seventh grade, I was bullied by someone who thought I was weak.
So yes, bullying occurs all the time.
A kid who has low self esteem due to sexual confusion, thanks in many cases to liberals, could be driven to suicide. However, many in this situation consider suicide even without the outside stimulus of being bullied. It's just a tough situation.
He may just have told one or two people he thought were friends.
Stuff like that gets around in schools.
Then again, nowadays anything is possible.
Catholic school nuns used to wallop me but good. I may have even deserved it. Makes me wish schools could bring back corporal punishment.
Adults told this child and his classmates that genital lust should be the focus of life ... at 12 years old.
I hope they’re happy now.
No kid should be bullied (if that even happened). No kid at age 12 should be talking at school about his/her/its/zir/whatevernonsense’s sexuality.
So his school planted the thought in his mind that he was bi-sexual and then allowed the other children to bully him.
This must be the "socialization" that home schooled children miss out on.

Twelve year olds don't think of that kind of stuff on their own. They have to be introduced to the concepts.
In a sane world, today’s “educators” would be prosecuted for child abuse.
People are evil for teaching little kids this garbage.
Death by suicide, death by disease, violence, etc. No sane person would want that kind of life.
12 is the traditional hormone age.
