Beijing, Mar 20 (efe-epa).- The Chinese premier on Tuesday urged the United States to act in a rational manner as there can be no winners in a trade war between the two countries.
Li Keqiang said China-US trade crossed $580 billion last year and was based on international trade rules, without which it could not have reached such a massive volume.

They’re not stupid.
In fact, they are smart enough to copy the mercantilism of the US from the 18th and 19th centuries. They are building their capital stock they same way we did.
And they know they ship $380bil more per year to us than we ship to them.
Outcome is certain. In less than 3 years they stand to lose over $1 trillion in sales. That’s real money, I don’t care who you are.

So let me just clarify a tiny bit.
If China values the American market, it is important for CHINA to buy much more from America.
Otherwise, we (in America) can default back to buying things from America.
