First let preface this post by saying this is not a complaint but something for us to ponder.
I have spent a lot of time trying to Red Pill everyone I know. In doing so I send them here to FR and the Q threads, hoping to gain new Freepers also.
Ransomnote does a great job explaining Q with links at the beginning of every new thread.
The main complaint I get is the overwhelming length of these threads. Remember many people work full time and aren’t able to spend hours and hours here and it’s hard for the new lurker to understand the thread without reading almost all the post.
I know it’s not possible to stop the chit chat or as Jocko calls it “side-bar kibbitzing” plus we need bagster to cheer us up occasionally.
So what I think we need is a place where people can get a detailed summary of all the information that has been discovered here with links of that days Q thread. (Before anybody says it, I don’t have the time or skills to do it.)
Bagster did a ***End of the Day Q Thread Summary*** in post #1575 that got me to thinking that this is exactly what we need.
Maybe someone can do this or has a better suggestion.
GREAT IDEA. A repository thread of the best from these raw messy threads.
Skypilot was doing one but it stopped being posted, perhaps because some bandwidth prissies complained like they did about the LexiQon taking too much of their time to scroll through it. Perhaps Sky would be willing to do what I did and put his recap on his FR home page and only post the updates as they are added?
