Recently, some staid, boring publication printed a photoshop of what President Trump would look like if he had a conventional hairstyle. I was not impressed (photoshop is below).
He would look like just another balding middle-aged guy. In fact, he'd look a lot like columnist/radio host Howie Carr!
I think the distinctive Trump hairstyle is a vital part of who Trump is. I have no idea how he came up with it but it really does set him apart. I'm not sure anybody else but Trump could pull it off.
But at age 68 I stopped going to the barber shop. I never had long hair before, so I decided to let it grow out and see what it looked like. I'm retired and live on our cattle farm so there is no one to impress.
At age 70, I have below shoulder-length hair. It is thick and sandy blond. A little gray at the temples. No thinning, no bald spots, no receding hair line.
Guys I know have asked me why I grew my hair out and I look at their bald head or completely gray, thinning hair and reply, "Because I can," with a big smile on my face.
My wife says my thick head of long, blonde hair makes me look like a 50 year old instead of a 70 year old. Besides, she says a pony tail on a 70 year old is very sexy. Who's to question their wife's judgment? Look who she picked to marry. :-)
I guess I must have good hair genes.

The style is his own, that’s for sure. I’d be OK if he let it go all white. But that’s because a lot of older peeps in my family have beautiful white hair.
