Firefox 59.0.3 (64-bit) is displaying a message saying that freerepublic.com is not secure.
Because of an update?
Win 10 just updated a few days ago.
Firefox just 5 days ago.
Are you logged in?
Go to the home page https://www.freerepublic.com
This will load the latest certificate and you will be grooving.
p.s. This also happens on some pages where the “Donate” images are not linked via https
I’ve had this update for a few days and never got a message like that.
We had to give up on Firefox last year. They more than once and said they cant keep up with all of the changes and challenges on the Internet. And I think if you look at the stats very few people using it at this point. I hate to recommend Chrome but it is the main browser today, and it seems to work with everything without problems.
Try Palemoon. That’s what I’ve been using for a few years now.
Check the URL you are using; if it says “http://" instead of “https://", that is the reason.
Just change the “HTTP://" to “HTTPS://" in your bookmark.
