Couple of potential teardowns on Balboa Island for under $2 million, lol.

One of my neighbors just sold her house to a family from Washington State. I’m hoping and praying that they aren’t from Seattle, unless they are conservatives fleeing the city.

The strange thing is that they purchased her house sight unseen. They didn’t come to see the house nor did they inquire about the neighborhood. No one even knows their names. Strange.

We are in a small town north of Tuscaloosa, so we can’t understand why they would choose our town. The purchasers emphasized how important it was that they be moved in by May 16. They kept emphasizing May 16.

For curiosity we looked on the calendar to see if May 16 had any special significance. We saw one “interesting” fact about that day:The beginning of Ramadan.

After seeing that date, the prospect of having Seattle leftists doesn’t sound as bad, considering the other alternative. After all, this is a conservative area.

I’ll admit that their fixation on May 16 has me a bit paranoid, lol.

Balboa island would be nice but I don’t think I’d be comfortable there. Manhattan Beach is better because most of the really rich are just casual nice people. Our neighbors were billionaires but you’d never know it. More snobby in Newport.
