President Donald Trump suggested Wednesday that he might revoke White House credentials for some journalists, following the publication of a survey that showed a dramatic leftward tilt in television news coverage about him.
The Media Research Center, a conservative watchdog group, tracked the evening newscasts on ABC, CBS and NBC for the first four months of this year and found more than 1,600 'explicitly positive and negative' statements about the president.
The group determined that nine out of 10 of those broadcast statements were negative. It did not include CNN and MSNBC in its research.
Trump vented, saying: 'The Fake News is working overtime. Just reported that, despite the tremendous success we are having with the economy & all things else, 91% of the Network News about me is negative (Fake). Why do we work so hard in working with the media when it is corrupt? Take away credentials?'

Full Title: Trump says he might ‘take away credentials’ from TV reporters because ‘91% of the network news about me is negative (Fake)’ in latest attack on free press
Yes, why not? They lie all the time anyway.
Cnn meltdown in 3....2.....1. Maybe they will get of that 500k fake payment to Cohen by a Russian story now. All day yesterday and today...24/7, nothing else but that topic.
Boo-hoo. It’s not fair for Trump to fight back. He should be more like George Bush...roll over and take a beating.
I would start with CNN.
They will scream unconstitutional.
And Trump will agree....and say...so is taking away guns, denying people the practice of their religion....etc etc.
We have a free press? :-)
He should. The First Amendment doesn’t guarantee access to the White House briefing room.
“in latest attack on free press”
The fact that there is such a thing as “credentials” suggests that taking them away has nothing to do with a “free press”. Why do some people have “credentials” and others not? Doesn’t that make it not “free” in the first place?
We can play the pretend “rights” game, too: there is a demonstrable lack of “diversity” in the White House press corps. The President should include more “minority” points of view (i.e. conservative) to establish “diversity”. Diversity is our strength, after all.
Someone educate me if you can.
Denying press credentials to go into the white house, is not the same as restrictions on the media.
The media are still going to report whatever they want, as they do now, whether Jim Acosta or anyone else in particular, is kept out of the briefing room.
The media and liberals would paint this as a restriction on the media, which it is NOT.
Am.i right, am I wrong? Media people do not have some constitutional right to be at the White House. They do have a constitutional right to blather away on TV, which they will continue to do, whether they are banned from the White House or not.
It isn’t a “free” press. They are controlled by leftist fascism. Screw’em.
>>The group determined that nine out of 10 of those broadcast statements were negative. It did not include CNN and MSNBC in its research
Note that to get the 90% negative, they had to omit CNN and MSNBC. Imagine how high the numbers would be had they included them.
First two on the list of banned @holes: Little Jimmy PeePee Pants Acosta and Lipstick-on-a-Pig-April Ryan. Both are nasty, disrespectful, rude, combative, and extremely unprofessional. .....And they are also bald-faced LIARS.
...And those are just their good points!
Excellent point....
Take away CNN’s FCC licenses to broadcast and distribute their feed until they remove “News” from their name and title.
They can replace it with propoganda or opinion, or even just call themselves the Cable Politics Network, but they don’t cover any news except politics
We should have a Freeper try to obtain “credentials”.
We can wreck these bastards if we simply refuse to cooperate with them and call them liars at every opportunity.
Also, we need to pass laws to forceably break up their little Liberal Monopoly.
AAaaaaahhhhhhhh
