I thought YouTube might take hickock 45 off so far so good. I never got too close to the sig pistols but Ive heard good things. If you ever get a chance and havent been there go to the Shot Show in Vegas. Best fun I ever had. My 60th birthday present. Then you get to meet the people behind the guns. Only time Ive ever held a 300 H&H double rifle. Heavier than I expected. R Lee Ermey was there with the Glock people but I never caught up to him.
I think I have owned one Sig P220, 3 P226s and a P225.
Of them all I have had a single jam. It was a PMC 90 gr. HP. Probably mostly the short bullet with the wide mouth. It fired perfectly in the P226 tho.
I sold the P225 before shooting it anymore.
It does make me wonder if the double stack mags are more reliable. I have never had a nose dive into the feed ramp with any pistol using double stack mags. I have had it happen rarely with single stack mags and short HPs.
Been to Vegas but not Shot Show
I can get a Kimber for less. NIB, no issues.
A friend says his old 1911 doesnt like hollow points. Shoots ball ammo no problem. We are wondering about feed ramp issues or mag issues. My S&W Commander eats hollow points and ball ammo. We are still messing with the problem. Its really lousy to have to go to the range so much. Glad we both retired.
Look at the plus side 2 background checks (CMP and the dealer. Does not ship to your house >
A piece of history, but too expensive. Unless you are expecting them to be sought out collectors items in the future, which is not too likely since so many were made, they’re not rare.
They need to get the money back for the three Humvees that were destroyed when the Soldier cut the Parachute lines.
