The body of Hitler (and Girlfriend) was picked up within a day or two of their death by the Russians. They spent around six weeks in an autopsy episode (yeah, it was a bit excessive)....never leaving the Berlin area. Far as I know....no Germans, Americans, or Brits were involved in this original autopsy.
At some point about two months after recovering the body....someone from Moscow (it’s never clear who) ordered the folks holding the body to dump it. They drove out to a woods about an hour’s drive west of Berlin, and dug a grave for the two bodies. This was mid-summer 1945.
Come January of 1946...another order comes out of Moscow....to dig up the two bodies. The order is for the Russian Army to dig a new and protected grave about 150 km SW of Berlin, on a Russian Army post being established. How they found the unmarked grave is still questionable but they came up with two bodies, and drove them to the Army post.
For 24 years, Hitler stays here buried on the Soviet post. Then another order comes from Moscow. They are burn the bodies and dump them in the local river.
Far as people know....other than the teeth, there’s nothing left to sample of Hitler.
This scenario sounds an awful lot like what the Russians did with scattering the bodies of the Romanoffs. Bury them...dig them up...move them. Bury them...dig them up...move them.
"Where is that tooth. . .?"
