I was once behind a huge gangbanger with numbers on his neck at Smart and Final. He had three large full naked ladies on each arm. 6 total ladies. He had huge arms. And the ladies had every detail of their bodies drawn in.

I just tried to keep my kids from having our cart bump him so I wouldn’t end up dead.

It is against Jewish law. Which I like. Too bad there is no commandment against excessive piercings. So far my kids haven’t wanted any of it.

The worst one I have seen was a guy riding his bike in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles whose body was striped, including his face. The stripes were 2-3 inches thick, big bars. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.

Perhaps his chances of getting hired would be better if he weren’t a complete f***ing dumbass who got a big tattoo.

...unfairly discriminated against after he was rejected by dozens of employers over his enormous neck tattoo.

Seems very fair to me. I have a problem if I accidently marking myself with my own ink pen.

Dumb f***. Try some covering makeup. Bad decisions shouldn’t harm you for life, but some do

With apologies to FRiends w/tats......in a contemporary world where traditions and relationships flow with the winds why do we have such a large population of people who commit their bodies to a lifetime of bad art?

I won’t be around for a lot of it but those who resist the urge to tat are going to have a whole bunch of saggy, wrinkly, blotchy, crepie old lady tattoos to snicker at.

It is a result of the retrogressive and subversive socialist tribalism that pervades Western Civilization.

What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? — 1 Corinthians 6:19
The admonishments of St. Paul the Apostle are hardly known and even worse denied in our times.

Here’s an idea, he could get himself tattooed black over his whole body and jump to the front of the line.

A friend of mine wife has tattoos of her lost child. It is an angel with his name in it and the dates he lived. Their son had a heart condition, but he lived 8 years. The doctor said he’ll be dead in 2 years...he lived 8. It is located on her shoulder blade, only visible when she is in her swimsuit.

I only know about it by running across this video of them covering a famous tattoo celeb with it (I have no tattoos):

LOL, you’re right. That tee shirt he’s wearing is filthy and gross.

Isaiah 3:16~25. Ear rings and piercings are included in the item list of excess jewelry and apparel. Readings in context could be viewed as an admonishment for things to avoid. Might help in explaining the dictum.

I have equantences whom have used this chapter to illustrate why he doesn’t allow his daughters to wear but a single pair of earrings, ( and only after turning 12) and no hoop large enough for a finger to be inserted. No other jewelry allowed. Perhaps over done, The main point was not to allow a mode of dress to absorb ones life.

Sounds like your doing fine with the child.

That was what my old man taught me, and what I tried to teach my kids. My son however still ended up getting a tattoo. On his chest. Says something like “In Him I am Sanctified”. In Latin, Bold font all across the front. He passed his Latin IV in Jr. High, and got a degree in Theology and is a youth pastor, and he was over 20 - so I couldn’t really complain.

A couple years ago he got one that has three points of the pentagram. Some symbol from a band he likes. “Yeah - it’s a Pentagram - symbol for Satan. But the legs are ripped off.” (Or maybe it’s the horns that are ripped off???)

The Latin one has grown on me. The other one - meh.

OK, that's funny, and I don't care who you are.

Seriously, if you go to Charleston, SC, the Magnolia Cemetery, where everyone who is anyone is planted, the Jewish burial ground is across the street...

I love Charleston. My parents lived there 3 years and I visited about 12 times. The same is true in L.A. Next to the biggest Forest Lawn Cemetary is Mt Sinai.
