Three years ago, he was a nobody. Why was Curry brought in to officiate at the royal wedding? Who's pulling strings for him and for what purpose? He's a Trump hater. This smells highly of politics.
Curry is Episcopalian so why was he brought in? By whom? For what purpose? What was the ops?
Somehow the Episcopal Church is related to the Anglican Church of England but Archbishop Welby is competent enough to do this solo and didn’t need help from outsiders.
No one knows what religion Meghan was but she did attend Catholic school. Protocol called for her to convert to the Church of England before marrying Harry, which she did. Why would she want Curry? She was raised and continued to live in CA. She lived in Canada part time while filming “Suits”. Curry preached in Maryland from 1988 to 2000 and currently in NC. Their paths, as far as anyone knows, NEVER passed.
The Mirror newspaper says Meghan “picked” Curry and his wiki says the couple invited him. Semantics. Someone please tell me just how it is that she’s ever heard of him. Well, she didn’t. Her picking him, imo, was because Welby picked him or someone pulling his strings did. Yes, she’s already being manipulated. In fact, Elizabeth is, too, despite she must approve of every detail of the ceremony including the bridal gown.
Elizabeth gave her approval of the marriage in March so no preparations could begin until after that. The msm was looking at a summer or fall wedding, not one in less than two months.
Curry became a bishop in 2015. In January 2016, Curry attended an Anglican Church event which Welby headed. One of the main topics was same sex marriage. That may be where they first met. A few months later, Welby (or a committee) put Curry on a task force. That same year, Curry and Welby were in a group that visited the Vatican. The Archbishop of Nigeria was against Curry being allowed to go to the Vatican saying it was against sanctions. Anyone know what that was about?
What made Curry so special that he got put on a task force right after he was made Bishop? What made Curry so special he got to go to the Vatican? What make Curry so special he officiated at the royal wedding? And the very next day we find out he’s a Trump hater and supposed to be in a march against him in a few days.
I thought the royals weren't supposed to be political. Someone is pulling strings for Curry.
Bottom line, Meghan did NOT “pick” Curry. IMO, Welby told her Curry would be there. Why? What’s the deal between Welby and Curry? For what I’ve seen, Welby has only known him for a year and four months.
Some people are just, plain crazy.
Oprah had a short meeting with Megyn’s mother before the wedding. I suspect either Oprah or Obama (or Moochelle) recomended this “Reverend Wright-Wannabe”.
There is a strong ‘white guilt’ latency in many members of the Royal Family. Charles and Harry are but two.
Harry says Michelle Obama had something to do with introducing him to his future wife.
Don’t know much about him except he was the fitst black bishop in the Elviscopalian church, but he’s a Trump hater? So he prefers to keep blacks on the plantation. I wonder if he agrees with Al Sharpton that the wedding shows that “white supremacy is on its last breath” Yes, it’s only ENGLAND, how dare those white people be a majority there.
Curry was made a bishop in 2000, and served the diocese of North Carolina. He has been Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church since 2015. I just assumed that because he heads the American branch of Anglicanism, and the bride is American, that’s why he was there. I read somewhere that Meghan was received into the Church of England some time after the engagement.
And, of course, he’s black.
And it seems she’s just as much a racist as Michael. She says when she was trying to get jobs as an actress she was turned down for parts because she was biracial. She’s lying, she’s pulling the card which is a big red flag.

I read in one of the FR threads that although MM went to a Catholic school, she was not a Catholic. I think her father is Episcopalian. She did marry a Jewish dude but I don’t know if she converted. She’s a religious mess.
Now, as to the rush for a May wedding, I think it has to do with MM’s Visa statue. May is six months from November when they announced the engagement. Her visa may have been expiring in May.
MM hates President Trump.

Not a big deal. The Episcopal Church is basically the American version of the Anglican Church and he’s a black bishop.
End of story.
But he’s a bishop the bride never had any kind of spiritual relationship with. Why not have Windsor’s prebendary give the sermon? She’s black, female, CofE, family minister. Ticked all the boxes.
Yes, she is. NO ONE would ever suspect she has Black blood, especially since she straightens her hair. And I am sure that not a small part of Harry’s attraction to her is the fact that she is partly Black.....likely 25%. Not bi-racial, but she will get as much traction out of it as she can.
