If I remember my movie history right, Robert The Bruce turned out to be a traitor to William Wallace, didn’t he?

In the movie, Braveheart, it was Robert's father, who made a deal with Longshanks to secure the Bruce's linage to the Scottish throne.

Robert the Bruce is a Scottish national hero. He defeated the English at the Battle Of Bannenockbourne in 1314.

The Scots were outnumbered by the English and Robert turned the tide of the battle into a resounding victory for Scotland.
