So.....I should NOT be talking to my plants? LOL

I DO look around before I tell them how nicely they are growing.....

I talk to my vegetable plants, flowers, trees and shrubs.

I talk to my dogs, I talk to my cats, I talk to the mule.

I talk to my houseplants, I talk to the birds at the feeder. I talk to butterflies and mushrooms and little Fairies I find in the woods. ;)

I talk to the sky, I talk to the Moon, I talk to star constellations and planets (Mars & Venus!) when I see them in the night sky.

I talk to myself.

I talk to my Grandma Anita who passed in 1976; especially if I’m baking bread or making a pie crust. *HEART*

I talk to my bartender at the VFW. *SMIRK*

And once in a great while I talk to Beau...but he’s never listening anyway, LOL!

I think I might have done all of them and I’m not even much of a gardener!

Very nice pictures. I’ve got a few and hope to get some posted soon. With your greenhouse so hot couldn’t you dry herbs in it??

“With your greenhouse so hot couldn’t you dry herbs in it?”

Brilliant idea. I have a nice crop of Oregano and Basil coming on.

I’m going to look for other ideas as to what people DO with their Greenhouses when they’re red hot.

This Fall, it’s going to be my, ‘She Shed.’ Looking into some Solar Lighting right now. ;)

Our dollar tree store up here usually has solar stick lights. Even the more expensive ones don’t last long.

I’m forwarding this story to my neighbors son who is head of the Missouri Botanical gardens. He is currently home visiting his father who has Alzheimer’s ...

Actually might do that. The garden was a lark...taking care of my grandmother and she loves a good tomato.

But...now that I’m locked in a life or death battle with this little annoying bastard...I guess it’s time to treat it like the war it is.

She won’t let me kill it. Oh, the poor squirrel...he has to eat too. (LOL).

Told her about posting here with all you nice reasonable conservatives.

She was horrified to hear of most of the suggestions.

Which was a pretty amusing supper conversation.

I’ve only ever talked to my pot plants. That one time back then.

But only very quietly.

Didn’t want anyone to hear.

How boring not to do those things! For me, gardening is a total experience, the good, the bad and the ugly.
