Only if ya wanna stay kosher...........
They know this how? Secret revelation?
Two oils He may have used, if He used any at all: Olive oil and the salve from the terebinth tree in Gilead, genus Pistacia. (Balm of Gilead).
I do not recall anywhere in the Bible where Jesus used oils. He used soil, spit, His voice and His hands.
Just like Adam and Eve ate the apple. Apple?
The disciple that Jesus loved. Insinuating Jesus may have been gay.
Man, I tell ya, folks need to focus on the message of the cross instead of inventing ways to cause others to question the deity of Messiah Jesus.
Yep, it was growing wild In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida, man...
The really interesting thing is that there are some people who actually believe it. Those people are so lost.
...same as the GoreBull warming consensus.
Anything that can be used to undermine traditional Christian teaching will be accepted by the gullible, no matter how idiotic, implausible, or unfounded. They declare as a “certainty” something for which there is no proof whatsoever.
Not only that, but they are playing with fire if they continue to spread this nonsense to others as well.
This same crowd also claims Jesus was “homosexual” and smoked weed.
They are literally cursed for saying this and spewing these lies.

So, people can now be instantaneously cured of long-standing illness - both mental and physical - merely with a dab of oil containing marijuana? If so, why was the practice dropped, and why isn’t it happening NOW? Why wasn’t everyone in Jesus’s culture doing it? Why are there no historical records of it? I know some heavy dopers, and they have as much pain and physical problems as anyone else. Marijuana heals them of nothing.
Must be some great stuff considering that Lazarus had been dead for three days.
:-)
I agree. The author of the article has been using too much cannabis...and it has effected his ability to think and reason. Blarney, pure blarney.
“They had critical CO2 and butane extract processes back then?”
I don’t buy this ridiculous article, of course. But it is likely that cannabis strains back then were higher in CBD and, in fact, simple oils could have been made at the time. Nothing to do with Jesus, though.

Maybe using oil is the way He instantly reattached the ear of the high priests servant, too.

These people....
*sigh*
American Orthodox rabbi and scholar Aryeh Kaplan noted: “On the basis of cognate pronunciation and Septuagint readings, some identify Keneh bosem with the English and Greek cannabis, the hemp plant.
